Don’t Put Your Property at Risk - Seek an Unsecured Loan

Thursday, January 31st, 2008

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=A._Wilsoon]A. Wilsoon If you are thinking of having a loan and you dont have any collateral to keep then an unsecured loan is the best option for you. If you are seeking an unsecured loan then you are not putting your property at risk. But here you have to pay a higher interest rate as compared to a secured loan in which you have to put your property at risk. You can seek a loan irrespective of your profession. Whether you are a businessman or a salaried person, a retired person or a self employed individual you can seek an unsecured loan of all kinds. An unsecured loan can be taken for many purposes like for buying a car, for your home improvement, for managing your debts through debt consolidation etc. Benefits of an unsecured loan are immense, the first and the foremost is that there is no risk of repossession of your property. Secondly you dont have to wait for a longer period of time because less documentation work is involved. Thirdly, no valuation of property is there and quickly loan is approved. Above all you may get a hassle free proceedings and a shorter loan term. As compared to a secured loan it has some disadvantages as well. You may have to pay a higher interest rate as compared to a secured loan because the risk to the lenders is high. The other major disadvantage of an unsecured loan is that the loan term is short. But, anyway you have a chance of getting the loans at competitive rates. There are lenders in U.K. who can offer you the competitive interest rates. With the growing competition among the lenders here, you have an edge to get a loan at cheaper rates. If you are not having any collateral then an unsecured loan will certainly help you to meet your financial goals. Family History Research - The Study Starts With You

Monday, January 28th, 2008

By Jane Biddulph You have decided to dig into your family history. Your notebook contains everything you could recall about your relations. You began by recording your vital statistics and proceeded backwards jotting down all the details you could think of. So where do you go now? Have you rummaged around your home to locate any documents that can support the information, provide clues to work with or add interest and personality to the history you are compiling? You probably got out a birth or baptism certificate and a few old photos then concluded that is all you have to contribute. You are ready to make a trip to your parents house or some other relatives to discover what treasures they have. STOP! Go back and look again. This time gather up everything you can lay your hands on that may (even remotely) add some interest or provide clues. You are not ready to interview family until you have established every thing you know. If you want to produce a family history … you want to find out more than the vital events. With genealogy you start with yourself and with family history you do too. Most of us do not truly start our research with ourselves. We know what we do for a living and where we went to school. What about the future generations? A family history is not just for you it is for your descendents and other kinfolk who will come after. Do a thorough investigation of your own life first. Not only will you establish a good foundation for your family history, you will learn what to ask others. When it comes time to contact other family members, you will have specific questions in mind. You will also have a background of material to work with that can be helpful in triggering memories. Hunt through your files, drawers and closets. Locate that box of childhood mementos. Pull out a copy of your resume. Take a close look at your keepsakes or family heirlooms. The items you gather will help to create a comprehensive documentation of your own life. You will find that the list of possible resources is endless - these include more then official certificates and photographs. Look for report cards, school papers, newspaper clippings, postcards, letters, insurance papers, licenses, property or business records, diaries, old passports, calendars, address books, and greeting cards. Even awards and trophies are records of events you should note. Once you have gathered up all the bits and pieces of your life - study each one. Use them to help recreate your story. Note down the mundane and the exciting. As you do not live in a world by yourself, you will probably be coming up with plenty of stuff on other family members. This is okay. You will find as you get deeper into your family history that while looking into the life of one member of the family you will discover information about not just them, but other kin. Take meticulous notes of everything that comes to mind. This may all seem a bit much to you. You might think it does not matter that when you were young you won a bowling trophy in the town league. Whether you studied piano, made model airplanes, are an excellent cook, can rebuild a car motor from the ground up, or collect salt and pepper shakers it all counts. What you do, have done and enjoy doing, should go into your family history. This information gives insight into you as a person. You might even want to include some interesting anecdotes. All those documents and other mementos probably have you reminiscing. Write it all down. These memories will bring your family history to life. Remember start with yourself. Make note of the exciting and the trivial. If you feel funny musing over your life by yourself, get your spouse, sibling or child to sit down with you. Let them take the notes. Just put it down on paper. You have stories to share that will mean much more to others than the date you were born on. After you have completed this groundwork, scrutinize what you wrote to uncover the questions you will ask others. Make a list of these questions. Now you can move on to ‘interviewing’ others. Simple Wedding Dresses Can Be Simply Stunning

Sunday, January 27th, 2008

By Donald Saunders For all too many brides the choice of a simple wedding dress is an economic reality. Getting married is a costly business and, much as we would like to, we can’t always afford that dress of our dreams. Or can we? With a little imagination and not too much extra expense simple wedding dresses can be turned into stunning wedding outfits that will have you looking like a princess as you walk down the aisle. The days of the full blow traditional white wedding are receding and more and more couples are choosing altogether simpler weddings which allow them the flexibility to let their own true personalities shine through. For the bride this also means a departure from the full and fancy white ball gown wedding dress and the adoption of a much simpler style of dress. This in turn, can also lead to a considerable cost saving. The traditional wedding dress relied very much on its sheer bulk to create an impression with elaborate headdresses and veils, long trains, a full skirt, bows and yards of lace. But does this really create any more of an impression than many of the much simpler dresses that we see today at high fashion events such as the annual Oscar ceremony? The secret is to start with a simple dress which best suits your figure and which accentuates your best features and hides the bits you don’t want people to see. If you have beautiful legs then why not wear a dress with a short skirt. If your arms are your best feature then what’s wrong with a sleeveless dress. Is there any real reason today to walk down the aisle looking like a meringue or trusted up like a turkey? If you would choose to go out to dinner is a backless dress, or with a low neckline that shows off a little cleavage, then why shouldn’t this style of dress also be suitable for your wedding? Once you’ve found a dress that suits your figure there are a variety of things that you can do to personalize the dress and to make it very much your own. You might for example add some beading or some lace to it. You could also add such things as bows or silk flowers. The possibilities are endless and are really only limited by your imagination. Don’t forget too that you can further enhance the effect of your wedding dress by the addition of various accessories including jewelry, a hairpiece and even decorations for your shoes. Picking a dress from the wide range of simple wedding dresses available today is just the starting point. The careful choice of a dress to suite your figure combined with your imagination and a little sewing can easily and cheaply create a truly stunning dress that you will be more than happy to wear down the aisle. The Benefits of Home Microdermabrasion

Saturday, January 26th, 2008

By Hope Mason Microdermabrasion treatments used to be known as the lunchtime peel. This short but effective anti aging skin procedure involved a visit to a dermatologist or cosmetician’s office. Thanks to new technology you can now perform this costly procedure yourself at home by buying home microdermabrasion kits. Professional microdermabrasion treatments involve the use of a tool that resembles a small blowtorch. This torch emits crystals on the surface of the skin and then gently polishes it. This polishing gets rid of the old exfoliated old skin cells and encourages new skin cells to grow. The stimulation to the smaller blood vessels in the facial skin is often immediately obvious because it brings a fresh baby pink glow to the face. These exfoliating and polishing treatments for sun-damaged skin are very popular. Microdermabrasian involves removing the superficial damaged layers in a non-invasive ways. These skin layers look healthier and the thickness of the skin is improved. However microdermabrasion works best if you attend a series of treatments so that the cells have the constant opportunity to renew and rejuvenate themselves. If you have acne scars or severe damage, you need a session every two to three weeks to achieve a smoother, healthier skin texture. Before the advent of home microdermabrasion kits, microdermabrasion was always performed in an office. Each treatment usually took thirty minutes to an hour and cost about a hundred dollars. Now thankfully several cosmetic companies are putting out their own versions of this procedures which you can do yourself at home. This is a boon to busy and budget conscious women and men as most of these home dermabrasion kits only cost between $25 and $60 and contain several treatments in one kit. This allows you to turn your bathroom into a high efficiency salon that you can visit at your leisure to polish your skin. This type of home microdermabrasian kit is also ideal for the slightly shy teenager who would rather try to take care of his or her acne scars in private. Some microdermabrasian products promise results in about four weeks but of course this all depends on how often and how well you use the product. Unlike the salons, these home microdermabrasian kits often contain creams or gels with small polishing granules. Some are thermogenic meaning the cream or gel heats up while it is on your face further stimulating your skin’s circulation. Some kits also come with a battery operated skin polishers, which contain a slightly abrasive plastic pad to thoroughly scrub away dead skin cells and exfoliate the top layers of the skin. Whether you are getting microdeermabrasion in a salon or using a home microdermabrasion kit it is quite common for the skin to suffer from some irritation and redness immediately after the treatment. This is due to the exfoliation of the skin, which eventually leads to the birth of new skin cells. These new skin cells will cause wrinkled skin to look plumper, dull skin to look more vibrant and skin with acne scars to appear less pitted. If you do suffer from mild skin irritation after a treatment then usually a mild anti-inflammatory painkiller such as Advil does the trick for relieving the discomfort. For maximum results you should also avoid wearing make up for a few days after a treatment so that you don’t hamper the renewal and healing of your newly abraded skin in any way. If you have acne and are planning to use a home microdermabrasion kit you should be aware that these kits are not recommended to use in conjunction with Accutane, nor should you attempt microdermabrasion on your face if you have taken Accutane in the past six months. Skin that has been exposed to accutane is naturally thinner and redder and there is greater risk of injury if you abrade your skin in any way while you are taking this drug. As microdermabrasion only removes the top superficial layers of the skin it is considered to be quite safe. Due to the fact that skin cells regenerate quickly any redness that does occur on your skin after using a microdermabrasion kit should clear up within an hour or two. Used correctly a microdermabrasion kit can save you the money you would normally spend repeatedly visiting a dermatologist, cosmetologist or plastic surgeon to get your skin resurfaced. However keep in mind that you will still need to do several treatments at home to achieve the same results that you would visiting a salon for several microdermabrasion sessions. Ayurveda History and Ayurveda Myth

Saturday, January 26th, 2008

By Dev Sri Ayurveda has been attributed a divine origin. It is believed that Ayurveda has no origin or end. It is both alpha and omega. Veda is science or knowledge. Knowledge has neither beginning nor end. Ayurveda resides in the eternal cosmic universe, in the protection of gods through the cosmic cycle of creation and destruction. All the physical universe is dispelled and recreated. There is no such re-creation for knowledge. The knowledge is passed to humans through selected people at appropriate times. According to Indian Vedic tradition the main idea of mankind getting the knowledge of life (a k a Ayurveda) is by a gift by Lord Indra. The original source of knowledge of life is Lord Brahma, who is also the creator of the whole universe. He taught Aswini twins or Aswini gods the science of life. They then passed the knowledge over to Lord Indra, which he gave to some holy seers. A group of seers met together to find a solution to the ailments that afflict humans. Their path to knowledge is deep meditation, where they are raised to a level of cosmic enlightenment. Lord Indra found these seers fit to handle knowledge of life or Ayurveda (Ayur- life, veda knowledge or science). The seers became vaidyas or doctors who treated the diseased and passed the knowledge orally to their disciples. There were no written texts for Ayurvedic knowledge till a seer named Veda Vyasa compiled the knowledge in writing. Ayurveda or knowledge of life is spread across the four Vedas Rig Veda, Sama Veda, Yajur Veda and Atharva Veda. However the knowledge was spread in an unorganized manner throughout the Vedas and other ancient scripts like Aranyakas and Upanishads. It was only between 1,400 and 1,000 BC that Ayurveda got a written reference material. Charaka Samhitha by Acharya Charaka and Sushrutha Samhita by Acharya Sushruta and the compilation of the two books, Asthangahridaya by Acharya Vagbhata are the earliest known organized literature on Ayurveda. These three books Charaka Samhita, Sushrutha Samhita and Astangahridaya are the basic treatises of Ayurveda. Ayurveda students in Ayurveda medical colleges of Kerala, India study the 1,000 plus year old treatise. An Introduction To Bad Credit Auto Loans

Thursday, January 24th, 2008

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Richard_Romando]Richard Romando If you have bad credit, you can still get an auto loan. In fact, bad credit auto loans are very easy to obtain through a variety of sources. If your credit is bad, in most cases you will not be able to obtain financing through a bank, but there are still other options. Unfortunately, bad credit auto loans typically end up costing you a great deal more than the vehicle is actually worth. There are two options for bad credit auto loans. You can obtain financing through a company like GM, or you can get in-house financing through the car lot if you are purchasing a used vehicle. In most cases, you will be required to put up a large down payment for the vehicle, and you will find that the amount of interest that you will be paying is quite high. Since auto loans are typically five years in length, this higher interest makes your payments higher than they would be if you were able to obtain a bank loan. Many car lot owners advertise easy financing or easy terms. While this may be an ideal solution for bad credit auto loans, you should beware. As many people find out, that easy financing isnt everything that it is cracked up to be. The down payment is often very high, the interest is high and if you miss one payment the automobile is usually repossessed. This means that you are out any money that you have already put in, with no hope of getting the money or the vehicle returned to you. The next time you are shopping for a car with less than perfect credit, and you find a dealer offering easy financing, read all of the fine print to find out exactly why that financing is so easily offered and obtained. There seems to always be a catch. [http://www.z-AutoLoans.com]Auto Loans provides detailed information on Auto Loans, Bad Credit Auto Loans, New Auto Loans, Auto Loan Calculators and more. The Plain Truth about Herbert W. Armstrong & the Worldwide Church of God

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

By David Ben-Ariel I think I said earlier that you sounded as if you may be of the WWCG. “A Higher Calling: Quest for the Kingdom of God” mentions how God called me into His Church during the days when Herbert W. Armstrong was courageously teaching the plain truth around the world, announcing the good news of the Wonderful World Tomorrow, the Kingdom of God that will soon be established with the return and reign of Christ. The present WWCG doesn’t claim them as their own doctrine any more. Rather, God doesn’t claim the WCG as His Church any more, as that apostate organization has returned to the traditional vomit of Babylon that many had escaped. It is now part of the Synagogue of Satan. God isn’t associated with it in any manner, shape or form. He did not teach the plain truth of the Bible. Then you’ve never read the Bible without your traditional blinders. Try it, so help you God. He taught that God is a family… The Bible teaches that God is a family. Why don’t you believe the Bible? Herbert W. Armstrong taught the plain truth of the Bible. Ephes. 3:14-15 14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole FAMILY in heaven and earth is named… Don’t you know what a Kingdom is but a Royal Family that rules over a specific territory, administering specific laws? Yeshua came preaching the Kingdom-Family of God that will soon administer the Law of God, the government of God, over the Earth and throughout the universe. Won’t you repent and believe the good news that we can be born again into the Kingdom-Family of God at the resurrection at Christ’s return? “…that Jesus did not exist before His birth in Bethlehem” That’s a lie. Why do you repeat such nonsense? Here is one of many examples of how Herbert W. Armstrong clearly taught that Yeshua was the Word with God in Heaven before he was divested of divine glory to become human so we could become divine: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men (John 1:1-4)…” “So here we find revealed originally two Personages. One is God. And with God in that prehistoric time was another Personage who also was God; one who later was begotten and born as Jesus Christ. But these two Personages were spirit, which is invisible to human eyes unless supernaturally manifested. Yet at the time described in verse one Jesus was not the Son of God and God was not his Father. ” Who and What Is God? “…that water baptism is essential for salvation” The Scripture says repent and be baptized. Why don’t you believe the Bible? “…that we must work to earn Heaven” Herbert W. Armstrong believed the Bible and taught “the meek shall inherit the Earth” - just like Jesus. Why don’t you believe the Bible? Why fall for the traditional lie about “going to Heaven?” Herbert W. Armstrong knows we are saved by grace alone, that we are pardoned and empowered, that Christ is to live in us as we exercise faith and works: Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. May you repent of spreading lies about God’s faithful servant, Herbert W. Armstrong; repent of misrepresenting God, Jesus Christ and Christianity with your traditional Babylonian Mystery religious error; repent and believe the Gospel and be saved, so help you God. Discount Canadian Drugs

Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Peter_Emerson] Peter Emerson It is a known fact that the United States government has not been very keen on regulating the prices of drugs in the country. What this means is that most Americans have to pay more for essential prescription medicines than they do in the G-8 countries (eight of the world’s economically leading countries that in a cooperative effort meet periodically to address international economic and monetary issues.) If you add to this the aggressive pricing policies of American pharmacy companies, you’ll see that prices for medicine continue to rise in the US, while they remain much less expensive in the neighbouring country of Canada. This disparity in prices has led to a rise in the popularity of discounted Canadian drugs. You can find advertisements in every local and national newspaper in the U.S. about discount Canadian drugs. Mail order companies claim that their shelves are well stocked. While most Canadian drug companies are licensed and insist on a doctor’s prescription for a purchase, there are many that are unlicensed. These companies only ask the name of the drug that you need and t will provide mail it to you. What’s more, discount Canadian drugs are easy to locate due to the proliferation of the Internet. Also, most of them claim to house a huge range of prescription drugs. The biggest clincher is that they are priced much lower than in the U.S. by up to 70%. Interestingly, a few of these online pharmacies also have generic drugs imported from other countries, at prices that seem ridiculously low to Americans. However there are regulations required for the drugs, meaning that you cannot trust all the discounted Canadian drug stores on the Internet. If you find one that meets your needs, make sure it is licensed and your drugs will pass through customs. Also expect medications to take at least 10-12 days to arrive after placing your order. Teenage Dating - 10 Tips for Parents

Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008

By Felecia Sheffield PhD Dating among teenagers is a reality and seen by some as a right of passage from childhood to adolescence. Adolescence is also a time when your child wants to fit in, belong and be accepted. Parents must set appropriate boundaries to help their teenager come through this very challenging developmental stage. 1. Decide if your teenager is responsible and emotionally mature enough to handle dating. 2. Look at your teenagers track record. Do they have numerous instances of lying, breaking rules, and not following through on commitments or promises? Past behaviors although not a 100% are strong indicators of future behavior. 3. Discuss which persons and places are off limits. 4. Discuss in advance which dates require adult supervision or chaperones. 5. Know who your teenager will be dating before they ring the doorbell on the first date and have contact information. 6. Set the night(s) on which your teenager can go out on a date. 7. Set an appropriate curfew time and make your teenager stick to it. Decide with your teenager consequences for curfew violations. Research shows that most children and teenagers set much tougher consequences than their parents. 8. Let your teenager know that under no circumstances are they to drink and drive. It is also important to stress to them that they are also not to get into the car with someone who plans to drive after drinking. Tell them to call home for a ride regardless of the hour and no questions will be asked. 9. Be open and frank with your teenager regarding dating and sex. Discuss safer safe practices including appropriate condom and birth control use. 10. Ask your teenager if they are having sex. Remember most teenagers are afraid to be honest with their parents for fear of their reaction. So dont ask if you really dont want to hear the answer. Felecia D.
